Phagenomy is a landscape game. Upright there is no room for the sector between your thumbs, and the sticks end up where the ship needs to be.
A two-minute tutorial walks you through flying, shooting, the charged shot, dashing, parrying, the skill tree and your ultimate. You can replay it any time from the title.
Twenty-five sectors. Colonies accrete out of blocks around a living core. Chew inward — every block pays. Every fifth sector is a Guardian. Something at the end is bigger than all of it.
Eight characters or more. No email, no reset — if you forget the password the account is gone. Progress saves on this device either way.
Host a room and it is listed below for anyone to join, or send the four-letter code to a friend and they type it here. Rooms run on phagenomy.com itself, so they work on school and office networks too, and the game goes straight between players whenever the network allows.

XP comes from playing - every colony, mini, Guardian and sector pays, online or solo (sandbox runs pay nothing). Free rewards unlock the moment you reach their level.
Sidegrades, never upgrades: a skin's perk is stronger in one moment and weaker in another, and all three classes fly free on Standard. Everything here costs bytes, the game's currency: the battle pass pays them as you level, and packs are coming soon. Bytes and what you buy live on your account, on every device.
Switch tracks in or out of the rotation and the radio only plays what you keep. Press play to hear one on its own - the radio pauses and picks up where it was when you stop.
Phagenomy is a free bullet hell roguelite you play in your web browser - no download, no install, on a PC or sideways on a phone. You pilot a small ship through twenty-five sectors of living colonies that grow out of blocks around a core. Chew inward, collect bits, and spend them on a 110-rank skill tree with six branches and four capstones. Every fifth sector is a Guardian, and at the end waits the Phagelord.

Three classes - heavy Titan, balanced Vector, swift Phantom - and forty-seven skins across five rarity tiers, each with a perk that trades one strength for a matching weakness, plus trails and a fifty-level battle pass you level just by playing. Nothing you can buy is stronger, only different: every class flies free.
Photosensitivity warning: the game has flashing lights, bright bursts, rapid patterns and screen shake that can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. Stop playing and see a doctor if you feel unwell. Motion: Reduced in Settings calms the strongest flashes.

Phagenomy's characters are its own, made in the spirit of games and series we love: Vesper is inspired by Devil May Cry, Obsidian by Sword Art Online, Tempo by the UTAU singer Kasane Teto, the Pyre Knight by Dark Souls and the Gilded Exile by Elden Ring. The menus nod to Persona 5, the rank sounds to ULTRAKILL and the loading roster to Marvel Rivals.
